Sr. Dorothy Pagosa helps lead Justice Conference of Women Religious

Sr. Dorothy Pagosa from 8th Day Center for Justice was on the steering committee of the Justice Conference of Women Religious. The second convocation of JCWR was called "Which Roots Will We Water. Systemic Change and JPIC Ministry."

The keynote speaker, Cynthia Moe-Lobeda, spoke of Structural Evil and Climate Colonialism. She referred to colonialism as it pertains to climate change. Europe and America use the most fossil fuels and yet the impact is felt most by Africa and Asia. Around 140 Justice Promoters from Women's Religious Congregations attended the conference held at Techny Towers in Northbrook, Illinois from March 5-7.
