Congratulations to the Sisters in our congregation celebrating a Jubilee this year!
Stevens Point, WI area
Sr. Virginia Jakusz and Sr. Kathleen Koltis celebrated their 60th anniversary as SSJ-TOSF during a private ceremony May 6. Charles Faso, OFM, was celebrant for the Jubilee Mass held in the St. Joseph Chapel at the motherhouse in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

Chicago, IL area
Four SSJ-TOSF celebrated their Jubilees on Sunday, June 10, at Sacred Heart Chapel at Clare Oaks in Bartlett, Illinois. Sisters Augusta Krueger and Christine Nowak celebrated 70 years of consecrated life, having professing final vows in 1942. Sisters Colette Wilczynski and Leona Augustyn both celebrated their 60th year as SSJ-TOSF, professing final vows in 1952. A special brunch was held after the Mass in Clare Woods Academy Gym, accompanied by some toe-tapping music from two members of the Ron Smolen Orchestra and dancing. Many blessings upon the Jubilarians!

Cleveland, OH area
Ten Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis (SSJ-TOSF) celebrated their Jubilees on Saturday, June 16, at St. Joseph Chapel at Marymount Congregational Home in Garfield Heights, Ohio.
Celebrating their 70th year with the congregation were Sisters Jeanne Noel Novak, Laura Nowakowski, Lydia Mergel and Mary Ann Rakoczy (professing in 1942). Sisters Francis Therese Woznicki and Mary John Szudarek both marked their 60th year, with professions made in 1952. Sisters Marjorie White, Sandra Lea Sabo and Shawn Lee celebrated their 50th year as SSJ-TOSF, having professed final vows in 1962. Sister Susanne Skorich celebrated 25 years of consecrated life, professing her final vows in 1987.
Bishop Roger Gries served as mass celebrant. Following the mass, a festive dinner was enjoyed by sisters, associates, family and friends at St. Joseph Hall and the Marymount Congregational Home dining room. Congratulations, Jubilarians!
