Sisters host weekly book club at St. Joseph Motherhouse

From the historical to spiritual to political, the Thursday Morning Book Club is raising awareness about global, national, and personal issues. The group started in 2013 with about 5 or 6 people and today has grown to 15-16 regulars, including Sisters Rose Grabowski and Alice Trebatoski. They meet weekly at St. Joseph Motherhouse about eight months of the year. The group began as an activity of the Newman Parish that formerly met at the Motherhouse Chapel. It grew as friends invited friends who select the books to read and discuss.

Sister Alice is pictured seated in the first row on the far left while Sister Rose is in the middle row, third from the left with the white and blue vest.
