During the Annual Employee Recognition and Appreciation luncheon at St. Joseph Motherhouse, several employees of the SSJ-TOSF's were honored for significant years of service with and for the sisters.
Receiving recognition were Cynthia Schmitz (20 years); Charlene Figge and Jane Oldenhoff (15 years); Lois Lawler and Cynthia Shaw (10 years); and Kami Albright-Loomis, Christine Hintz, Caitlin Shannon and Diane Sayles (five years).
This annual event is held to recognize all employees as being both a blessing and a gift to the community, said Sr. Joyce Soukup, Director of Human Resources.
"Our employees in nursing, dietary, maintenance, housekeeping, reception and congregational services are partners with us in our ministry," she added. "They carry out our mission and values in their service with and for the sisters. They make a difference and we are grateful for their dedication."
At this October gathering, employees with five to twenty years of service received a candle, gift and a special blessing from the sisters who gathered to celebrate with them.
